It is with much sadness, that we announce the cancellation of our 2020 event. We are now exploring whether it will be possible to hold our event in 2021 and hope to make an announcement on this shortly.
We encourage the many of you who had planned to visit us in October to still include Millmerran in your future travel plans. South East Queensland is a wonderful region to explore and we will be ready to welcome visitors with open arms!
The Darling Downs Eisteddfod inc is a non for profit organization that will host a week long competitive festival in Millmerran at the Cultural Centre from August 15th to August 21st. The festival will include, Singing and Choirs, Speech and Drama, Dance, Instrumental and Bands. This competition is open to schools and to the general public in fact, anybody from 3 years old to open age that has a talent they would like to showcase. All of our sections will have a professional in their field to adjudicate and critic their item. This event will be held annually.

Millmerran Men’s Shed—Operating from 19th May - both days Tuesday and Fridays Wylahra Grove Progress Community Hall—operating Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.—Outback Hobbies resume Tuesday 16th June, Darts/Parlour Games resume 19th June. Millmerran Golf Club—Golf Competitions can resume— certain restrictions still apply. Rocky Creek Hall—no social functions planned at this stage, awaiting lifting of further restrictions. Millmerran Arts Council - Library Gallery Exibits—resume July—Artist—Helen Kim—Indigenous artist from Warwick. Millmerran Historical Society—reopening in July Wylahra Grove Progress Community Hall—Brekky in the Bush—Sunday 5th July.
