Millmerran Arts Council 40th Anniversary

Millmerran Arts Council Inc. is celebrating an amazing 40 years of bringing the arts to the bush! We are one of Queensland's longest standing and few remaining regional Arts Councils, and we invite you to join us to celebrate!!​

We've organised a special lunch-time event at the newly established "Carallen Place" function centre at the Mill Inn Tavern, with entertainment with the Paul Hendon Trio.
We'd love to see a great turnout for this special milestone of which Millmerran can be very proud.​

Darling Downs Eisteddfod

Performances on stage from 8am until late every day at Millmerran Cultural Centre. Spectator admission fees: Session $5, Day Pass $12, Season Pass $40.

Trivia Night

ICPA Kindon Branch is holding a Trivia Night at "Bollaranga" 3199 Merton Road, Yelarbon. Teams of 6-8 people. $30 per person, $15 students, Primary and younger free - includes registration and dinner. RSVP by 5th August to Andrew and Lisa adlawaugh@bigpond.com for catering purposes.

Heritage Walk

The Millmerran Heritage walk is a great way to take a leisurly stroll while visiting many of the historical sites around the town of Millmerran including: The original residence and general store, the first police residence, churches, and museum.

On the Morning of FRIDAY 30th SEPTEMBER 2022 - location - Campbell Street, Millmerran. Millmerran Commerce & Progress Inc. will be hosting a BUSKING COMPETITION. Cash prizes for winner and runner up. Winner also receives stage time at the Australian Camp Oven Festival. Fuel vouchers to be won for the public who cast their votes for their favourite entertainers.

Millmerran Olympic Pool Update

Thursday 21st April, 2022 was a momentous occasion for Millmerran, marking the TURNING OF THE FIRST SOD on the Aquatic Centre build­ing site. In February of 2022 Toowoomba Regional Council announced the successful tenderer for the project was Taylor Builders. An artists impression of the building was released and the demolition of the old pool and amenities commenced. From community Your Say replies to what type of facility was required by the residents of the town and district, the new Aquatic Centre will have a NEW 50 metre 6 lane heated POOL, Water Play options, new change rooms and kiosk, covered grandstand, shaded areas of the pool and surrounds, disability compliance across the pool site and LED lighting.
