The Chisholm Trail is a Single Action Shooting competition held at Captain's Moutain near Millmerran. Organisers and competitors attempt to preserve, promote, and respect the skills, traditions, and pioneering spirit of the historic American Old West. The competition sees those involved dress in costumes of the period, and take on special names for the week. 2026 Event will take place from 27 September to 4 October 2026. Save the date Saturday 13th December, 2025 from 6pm to 9.30pm.
The Millmerran Christmas Tree in Domville Place will be illuminated from 1st December 2025 with a Free BBQ event being held from 6pm and the lighting of the tree at 7pm.
Santa DriveBy is planned for Thursday 18th December, 2025 commencing at 6pm.

HARKING back to the pre-Old West era, the Rendezvous event pays homage to hunters, fur trappers, explorers and pioneers who opened up much of the frontiers of North America, Africa and Australasia during the Golden Age of muzzleloading firearms from 1500 to 1865.
